Can you believe it’s already time for my final organizing project as a brand ambassador for The Container Store? Time has certainly flown by! This month’s project is all about cleaning out and organizing my fridge, with the help of The Home Edit Fridge Collection. The Container Store has everything you need to organize not only your fridge but also your pantry, kitchen drawers and cabinets- which makes The Container Store your kitchen’s best friend!

If you are not sure where to start, check out these 5 easy steps to help guide you through the process.
Step 1 – GET INSPIRED by checking out Instagram hashtags like #refrigerator #refrigeratormakeover #kitchenorganization or #TheHomeEdit to get your creative juices flowing and start visualizing just how great your fridge can look.
Step 2 – SHOP www.thecontainerstore.com or visit one of their stores to get everything you need. Personally, I prefer to use clear containers in my fridge to easily see what is inside and how much is left (also helps with making my grocery list).
Step 3 – CLEAN by emptying everything out of your fridge. Wipe down the inside walls and all the shelves and drawers. Starting with a clean slate is key in any organization projects.
Step 4 – EDIT by going through every item and check for expirations dates. Trash the old and give away stuff you never use. Check for duplications and combine those three jars of strawberry jam into one! Create categories by grouping like items together. For example, sauces, jellies and jams, sandwich meats, and dairy items. This will help you visualize how much space is needed for each category.
Step 5 – SET UP. After you have your new containers filled by food type or categories, start setting them in the fridge. Don’t be afraid to move your shelves around to maximize the space. Consider placing items you use daily, like coffee creamer or yogurt, near the front for easy access.

And voila! Cleaning and organizing the fridge may not be fun, but the results are certainly satisfying. Good luck to you all!
